Our stories

Gain an insight what kinds of film & TV content we want to make and are working on for the future. This is who we are and what we want to say in our work.

What are the stories we want to tell?

TONE

We make authentic and character-led work that contrasts the light with the dark; we're inspired by real people and real stories. We want to make work that reflects the World around us and has something bold to say about it, whilst being life-affirming and with a sense of humour.

SUBJECT MATTER

We develop and produce film & TV that gives a voice to unheard communities, whether it's intersections of the LGBTQ+ community (e.g. our short film 'Nora Can't Score' about asexuality) or 'The Herring Queen', putting a spotlight on how climate change affects small coastal towns. Nothing is too out there for us, but it has to feel authentic and fresh.

TALENT-LED

We're proud to work with and support new talent; we want to nurture and champion unique creative voices. We particulalry want to work with directors and creative leads who are often underrepresented in this area.

We empower people to tell their stories that don't get seen on screen.

AUDIENCES

We want to make great film & TV that is accessible to lots of different people; just because a story is specific to a community or experience that doesn't mean it can't have global appeal.

Ultimately everything we make has to entertain people in some way. We're all about leading with a bold concept that draws people in, and 'trojan horse-ing' in discussions of wider social or political issues.
